Ok, so I know its been a while since I updated my journal, so here is a recap of what was happening for the past few weeks.

After the DevMeet in NYC I headed up to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to visit my sister for a while. We did some brother/sister stuff and I started to teach her the basics of using an SLR. I figure if you want to learn how to use a camera, you learn to use one that you have the most control over. So anyway, I stayed up there for close to 2 months keeping busy, including heading up to Maine, before returning back where I grew up.

So, when I returned, I found that the restaurant that I worked part time at, to make a bit of money to travel, went out of business. So naturally I was bummed out. So then I figure to go job hunting and either find a restaurant that can suit my photography needs or find a job in the photography field. So I pounded the pavement and started applying. Not to brag or anything but most of the jobs I applied to cave me a call to set up an interview. I guess it is really nice to have my Heath Board Certificate for a restaurant job.

I also got a call from a local portrait studio for an interview. The interview took a little over an hour, I was undaunted by the questions and answered vigorously. Well, long story short, I got the job. I finished up the paper work and started training on how they do business. I am so excited, its like camp!

Well anyway, sorry to my watchers for the belated update.
Later.
